A cluster of small ball like flowers, giving the appearance of tiny grapes. Belong to the Lily family. Has escaped from cultivation to the fields and roadsides.

Sometimes called spotted Reindeer Moss or Crow's Foot. Somewhat endangered because of its use for Christmas decorations.

Flowers: Curving ridged hood (Spathe or Pulpit) evelopes an erect club (Spadix or Jack). Fruit: Cluster of shiny red berries on Spadix. Plant 1-3 ft.

Flowers are Pink to Purple. The plant's name comes from it's dried fruit, called Silicles. When dried it reveals what some call silver dollars. Will grow in sun or shade.

NightShade BitterSweet -- Solanum dulcamara

Vinelike, Leaves with 2 small lobes at the base. 5 Violet petals in the sweep back position with protruding yellow anthers.

Also call maypops, apricot vine or May apple. The vine can survive as far as Zone 4 if it faces south or east and is protected by a building or wall.

A large daisy like flower with reddish purple rays. Lower leaves egg shape. Stalks 2 to 4 feet high with large flower heads.

Sometimes called spotted Wintergreen or striped pipsissewa [pipsis'u wa]. The name derives from a Cree Indian word referring to the diuretic properties of the leaves.

Pseudonyms: Bluebells Wild Hyacinths, normal form is blue but may be found in pink and white. Prefer slightly acidic soil and partial shade.
