General Description

The Backyard Conservation Program is a cooperative project of Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), National Association of Conservation Districts, and the Wildlife Habitat Council. This program shows how conservation practices that are typically used on agricultural  land to conserve and improve natural resources can be adapted for use on the land around their home - whether it is an average-sized suburban yard or a tiny plot in the city.

Funding and Assistance

The Backyard Conservation Program does not provide financial assistance to participants, however, technical assistance is available.
